Finally - Andy and Val tie the knot at the Guildhall, Windsor (26th April 2003)
Andy and Val tied the knot at the Guildhall in Windsor at Midday on Saturday 26th April 2003 after 30 odd years of indecision. Val who did not look a day older than when they were last an 'item' wore a gold off the shoulder dress and Andy sported a tie made from the same material. All in all they did make a splendid couple and the Wedding Party (pictured right) spent a fabulous afternoon at the reception in Cornucopia a few yards walk away.
Val is a Ward Manager and Andy a Teacher at the Licensed Victuallers School in Ascot where he is often mistaken by the students as 'furniture'. He is also a freelance snapper which is how I know him. He is of course old enough to have been my teacher too.
